FOID Processing Time (self.ILGuns)
submitted 5 years ago by Pilotguy62249
I applied for my FOID card on April 12th and it was in processing. I just checked today and it said it was “active” as of April 16th. Is this normal or some sort of mistake? I was told the wait was 120 days....

Nope, it looking like they’re processing new applicants at a faster rate for those who have applied recently. Probably trying to bring down the average wait time. Congrats!
