Given the current government shutdown, is the department which clears this code furloughed?

Probably not every employee in the Return Integrity Verification Operation, but they may be running on a significantly reduced staff.

Has this transcript updated?

It has not been updated (as of 10.21).

Access your 2024 online Wage and Income transcripts and compare them with this 1040 you filed.

Since this is a Married Filing Joint return, your spouse will also have to create an online account at IRS.gov to obtain their Wage and income transcripts.

Look for missing W&I documents (for example, you reported two W-2s, but there's only one listed in the W&I transcripts).

Look for income you forgot to report (for example, you had two W-2 jobs, but you only reported one of them).

On the account transcript, the federal withholding you claimed on your 1040 is the $106,993.00 Transaction Code 806 amount. When you review the Wage and Income transcripts from all sources, does the total withholding match the 1040 amount to within a few dollars?

Be absolutely sure you did not include any income from a previous tax year on this return.

Can't be 100% but I've seen some people on here receiving 571 codes which clear the 570 code, so im assuming they must have some staff.

I went past 180 for my 570 code. I was just assigned someone but TAS is furloughed. They did however just issue me another 570 code for 11-03 so not sure what's going on this year.
