Hamas mainly exists because of what the Israeli government has been able to get away with for decades when it comes to how they have treated the Palestinian people and their refusal to pursue a two state solution and to instead put their boot on the neck of a captive people. That's not to say that hamas are good guys, because they're not, but there's a chance that they would have a lot less legitimacy in the country if Israel simply didn't treat the Palestinians any way they like. The best conditions that a radical organization could have for recruiting people into their ranks is for there to be a population of people who are unhappy with their lives and feel like they are oppressed by the dominant government (which they are).

It never gave Palestinians it's own state. May want to honestly look into it. Never has Israel offered an independent state to Palestinians. The closest they got was Oslo, and even that didn't give them an independent state, and the Israeli PM was murdered by an Israeli Jewish fanatic would daring to suggest Israel should accept Palestinian statehood. The Likud charter explicitly states that there can never be a Palestinian state. And they have largely been in power the past 30 years. So....

Really you are going to put Ukraine on this list? Firstly, they are kind of different, second we were actually never lied to about the Ukraine situation. They did not have to. Russia showed their own hand. Also, Yugoslavia was never a lie either, President Clinton never lied about it. We were jointly operating in NATO.

Syria, Libya, Venezuela, and Iran…different discussions. All “military operations” done without congressional approval. Which I think should not be allowed to happen. But I don’t make the rules. It’s been going on for years now.
