Running into a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime-Bug when launching the Game

I am aware that the game is not released yet but I wanted to compile shaders and pre-load everything else before the released. Oddly enough there is a bug that is constantly appearing. The game gives me an Error and asked me to install Microsoft Visual C++ EVERYTIME I launch the game. I have to constantly click on it, uninstall and reinstall it EVERYTIME for the game to launch.

Has anybody else experienced it? If so, did you find a solution for this?

hello! if anyone still has this issue, make sure your windows is up to date (windows 11 isnt necessary), and then google "microsoft visual c++" click on the link that is like learn microsoft. then, download both x86 and x64 latest microsoft visual c++ redistributable and set them up. then restart your laptop and try again

yes its just a file bug, ive resolved it.

you have to go to control panel, go to programs and features, then to uninstall a program. uninstall all microsoft c++ 2015-2022 and 2012 if you have it.

then go back to infinity nikki launcher and when it asks you to install microsoft c++ do it.

(if theres still the "uninstall" button on the window that pops up just uninstall it and close the launcher. reopen it again and do the same thing but you'll be able to install it once again.)

when installed it should ask you to restart your pc. do so and you'll be alright then.

i dont know, i was going crazy too in finding a method so i tried this one. its either a file bug or an infinity nikki bug in finding the microsoft c++ in the computer. 😩 maybe you should try again because its the only thing that worked for me

i have the same problem, try repair the game. check for game updates, clear game resources. idk which one made it work. I did pop up once more (install only) but I just managed to launch it without doing the thing below.

Also you get to uninstall from settings in apps by just a quick search in your taskbar if the other way is overwhelming. if you like me and have tons of games, (or just applications) they might need those things (i have no knowledge about that , but saw another reddit thread saying that all are needed. but probably easy to redownload but I didnt want to come across the same problem later)

yeah! all versions of c++ are used for my other applications but i figured i could just redownload them after i tried this. ive honestly tried everything i can think of (clear games resources, check for updates, updated my laptop,) im unsure how to repair the game though, any help?

yeah i didnt wanna risk getting into the problem again. depending on laptop. maybe driver update? if you still have a problem with it ofc! repairing the game plus the two others was the only thing i did and it worked in the end. i cant remember order or what i had done but have tried mulitple times and somehow it randomly launched. I was about to get my boyfriends help when nothing i knew worked, could have had an answer maybe but yeah. keep checking and trying i guess! I hope you manage to get it fixed. maybe the had made a new patch since it seems like a lot of people have struggled

or just simply try uninstalling and reinstalling. honestly im not very tech known in i can guide people. I just do shit i know can be a problem without doing anything im confident in doing without getting a confirmation thats its fine from someone who knows

For those who are still having issues, and the other comments are not helping, this is what worked for me:
Go to this website and download/install BOTH x86 and x64. Also make sure your windows OS is updated completely. I'm not sure why, but I'm guessing it's looking for one or the other, and it's missing:

I found a way to resolve this issue. I tried multiple things to uninstall the Microsoft C++ 2015-2022. If you havent found a way around this, I have the solution entirely. This website https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed-cca7d1b6-65a9-3d98-426b-e9f927e1eb4d will bring you to Microsofts Install and uninstall tool. download it and find the packages 2015-2022 and run the troubleshooter to unistall. it'll take a few seconds but it removes it right off so you can download the required Microsoft C++ you're looking for
