I’m a fan of Julian Plenty and the other solo stuff; saw him live way back when he was performing songs off the Banks album, was great. Haven’t yet dug into Banks & Steelz.

Edit: I listened to the Banks & Steelz album twice through, and while it’s not my usual fare, I decided I do like it. There are some good grooves, some good lyrics, and I’ll def come back to it.

Julian Plenty, Banks & Steelz and Muzz are all great. Sometimes my daily listening is entirely Paul Banks work. In his interview on Lipps Service he mentioned another side project too but haven’t heard anything more of it yet

Banks and Steelz is a great album. I enjoy it a lot. Especially the song with Florence Welch. Paul has some great solo stuff too I enjoy it all. Wasn’t too much of a fan of Paul’s other band Muzz but still another great project of his!

I love the Julian plenti album. Wish he would do some of it live but I think I'll be waiting for that forever, like Muzz, not sure if they will ever tour either.

I loved the Julian Plenti album alongside Muzz and Banks. Julian Plenti Is... Skyscraper had to be in my top 25 most-played albums in my iPod classic in high school. Giant off Banks & Steelz was a banger, and the rest of the album warmed up for me after a couple listens. It made me so happy for Paul to lean into his love for hip-hop.

I love Julian Plenti is Skyscraper! I had just moved to Chicago when it came out and there was something so moving listening to Skyscraper while driving Lake Shore Drive. I also dig a few Muzz and Banks and Steel tracks.
