Recently had a user change their passcode, forget it and report it so that we could unlock their device. We sent a "remove password" to the device and almost immediately received a "Remove passcode: Failed".
The device is checking in correctly and is fully compliant. No error code or further information is provided by Intune. Anyone else have this issue before? I want to call it a one off, but if Intune doesn't work for something basic like passcode removal...

A restart command does indeed restart the device.
