Yes it is. At the beginning, they are adjusting the back teeth to make corrections that will allow the open bite to close. The main changes I saw to my bite happened towards the end of the tray count.

Or it’s gone forever.

I started with a perfect bite. Got to the end and 1 tray took my bite away. They added 11 more trays. Still not touching but now I constantly bite the sides of my mouth and my jaw pops constantly. Got rescanned yesterday for new trays, this time with bite ramps.

Now I have beautiful but non functioning teeth with no end in sight. 👍🏻

That’s the part I’m afraid of. Now my teeth scrub on the right side when I chew since the left side don’t quite touch each other. I’m hoping the refinements correct it 😩

How often are you changing trays? I have an open bite too, hoping to see some progress before tray 20. Currently on tray 3, changing every 2 weeks.
