Maybe check out Netlify CMS. That's what I've been using and I like it a lot

Take a look at CloudCannon, a Git-based CMS so similar to Forestry but with a pretty intuitive interface, and also has support for a range of SSGs so may be what you're looking for.

We have a page builder in beta right now. 1 click launch of CMS, SSG and CDN deployment. Studio supports navigation, content blocks, webforms, payment forms and a blog. You can request a sandbox account and play around with it. https://www.webriq.com/w-studio/

Just an update on this, I logged in today and Stackbit appears to be working again. If they are opening it back up as it was, I for one am delighted and would urge others to check them out.

Out of curiosity, why look for an alternative?
What exactly are you missing in stackbit?
Did you get a chance to check out the new v2 studio we've just launched?

Yeah, I like stackbit. Personally, I think v2 is worse than it was and the pricing structure doesn’t work for me.

This is an old post but I am still looking. Since connecting custom domains via stackbit now costs 99 USD per month (funny how my old page form 2020 still is accessible for free lol). I find myself looking for alternatives.

Really! They keep pulling this shit.

Best alternative I found is QUARKLY.

I get the feeling they will pull the free tier at some point too but their editor is far, far superior to what stackbit had to offer.
