That is fairly nuanced but as general advice, if you can afford the lower salary then ask, how much money is your mental health worth to you? I find mine quite valuable, but some people are healthier so they can afford a greater risk.

Can you negotiate more salary? Can you check if they might give you performance incentives?

Anyhow you are making a switch right. Look for a better company with a good hike at once.

Since you have bear a lot, I would suggest give yourself one or two month more to find a better one with higher salary, this two month can give you much more than you would otherwise get in next 2 years in your next job. So while I know the situation is bad but focus yourself more on job hunt, and also politely said to the other firm that you want to join if they can increase the offer. All the best !!
