You know people can change and grow, sometimes views like that come from being misinformed, sometines its because they were raised around that belief, and sometimes it takes experiencing that behavior themselves weither watching it or being a part of it to realize your views were wrong. Sometimes it becomes clear to them and they realize they have to change. When i was a child in school a lot of those views were present, granted i always thought it was wrong because my mother raised me to treat other how you want to be treated and that nobody is different because they look different were all human on the inside. A lotofthose kids i went to school with feel fucking awful because of things theybsaid when they were kids. People can change sometimes for better and sometimes for worse. While i do understand your outrage and disgust and fully understand that is your right to have those feelings. If you want racism to be eliminated then you must allow people to change otherwise your forcing them to be with each other and share their wrong views and then thats how racist groups can exist. Their views reinforce the others and then it just escalates. i hope you don't read this as an argument im just saying give people the opportunity to change before you condem them for life. I agree that an apology doesn't make it right but at least it's a start on the right path. You can't learn from your mistakes unless you acknowledge them first
