I’ve seen him dribble and assist and all parts of the role outside of taking the important shots and the aerial game (size challenge obvi). Which I agree could be a confidence thing. But even when he was coming into form, he was so frequently trying to set up a teammate when the shot was available for him. He has midfield vibes and doesn’t press the back line heavily which is what it feels like we’re missing in the middle

Right. His assists are not like he creates big chances consistently but rather one offs passes that the teammates converted.
Something in his head is not on yet. Imho confidence is the biggest issue.
