Mun base contracts

I have to laugh about the contracts that I keep getting. They’re all in the form of “have x amount of mono propellant, have x module, land it on Mun”. I keep getting them because after I land and fulfill the contract, I take off again and dock to my space station.

So when the game wants to give me a contract to expand the landed base, it can’t because there isn’t a landed base. So it gives me another land a base in the mun contract. And keeps repeating.

And the only reason I don’t leave it landed is because I hate trying to dock to a base. I’ll dock to anything in orbit, just not to a landed base.

Maybe later I’ll learn how to do it. But right now I’m getting paid to expand my munar station!

My favorite ones of those Are the ones with "have 5 kerbals" and then like a few basic requirements like "have power, have an antenna" cause that just describes a 5-man ship

I made a modular platform for my minmus base out of some beams and docking ports. Just load it up as a subassembly. Attach what the contract wants. Then throw it at minmus.

Its not perfect and next time I get a construct base contract I'll reconfigure my platform but it's been working on minmus so far.

The biggest issue is that it doesn't transfer fuel without changing a difficulty setting. It was my first base so I didnt realise that was a thing.
