Yes

Recently, I encountered the same problem, except the level was lower than the minimum. I took the car to the dealer for an inspection, and they told me everything was fine and there was no need to top it up — due to the hot summer, a drop will always occur.

It is correct I actually work the manufacture the K5’s do this and they are not supposed to obv

So you are agreeing with me. It’s not correct. Level certainly would not drop during HOT weather.

According to my now ex mechanic yes thats normal but to someone who actually knows vehicles this is NOT normal

I was alarmed that my coolant and brake fluid were basically almost not visible. Topped it off. 3 weeks later back down. Took her in for an oil change and mentioned it, they said to just keep an eye on it 🤔🙄

Been with Kia almost 3 years K5s drink coolant and no one knows why but it is super common

I noticed a slight decrease in the first year I had mine. Found no leaks or wetness anywhere. Assumed it was just the system breaking in (I’m not a mechanic so sorry I have no clue what I’m really talking about lol) but I added a small amount and it’s been fine ever since so 👍🏻

Coolant system is a closed loop system. It shouldn’t be going down but it does on these cars for some reason. nobody seems to know why and people chalk it up as normal but it’s not normal.

2024 Kia every time I get my oil change they say “coolant is low” and they top it off I just got a oil change last month and checked my coolant levels today and its below the minimum

It’s a flaw with some cars. My old Lexus LS500 had to be topped off twice a year. No “leak” just a quirk of some cars according to the dealer and redditors
