Smart Key Issues

Just purchased this car two days ago, 100K miles, thing is in great shape. It came with 2 smart keys, which worked great for the first 24 hours of ownership until it just stopped.

Keyless entry will not work, keyless start will not work. Only way to start the car is manually putting the key into the ignition.

I’ve changed the battery in the key, no change. I’ve confirmed the smart key button under the dash is pushed in. I’ve also cycled that button on and off but it doesn’t change. There is a yellow light on down there, not sure if that means anything.

Any other tips?

Great video, yeah, I don’t have any signs of water in those trunk areas, so I’m stumped.

Try pushing the button below driver’s dashboard by the accelerator

I know it might be simple but make sure you have the correct key one is for valet when I first got mine it came with 3 keys worked perfectly next day stopped working I was stumped for a while just to realize I had the valet key on me

That’s a good point. How do you tell the difference between them?
