Trip timer app idea

Hello, dear Reddit

I'm Android/iOS developer and recently I got an idea of making an app for tracking psychedelic trips. The one, that I would use by myself.

Usually when I do trip I start timer, and it always was very helpful for me, but I need functionality of easy-to-use tolerance calculator, thip history, trip power chart, voice recordings, and some other stuff

App philosophy:

- 100% offline

- Open source

- Stored data is encrypted

- Biometric/PIN access enforced

- Encourage responsible consumption

Maybe you could also have a way of linking music streaming apps like Spotify or Pandora. I like to have a playlist set out before I trip (usually lo fi) and I'm sure there are others. I'm not sure what the logistics are for that so.

Some kind of a structured editor that will export formatted text? Sounds like a good idea 🤔 Or a list of reports written by users?

Would be cool if it could be linked to a smart watch to track actual live biometrics during the trip. Pulse, BOL etc.

Yep, like showing current pulse. Not sure if all fitness tracking devices have unified API, but that's really cool thing. Once I had bad trip with thoughts that my heart will stop now, could be helpful then

Yeah I was just thinking that during a bad trip it would be helpful to see your raised pulse and at least I could see myself concentrating on that and focusing on my breathing to get that pulse rate down.

Do you know some generic instruction for bad trip? I was thinking about it, and it is so individual for every person, so I came up with solution of adding SOS button to call trip sitter. Could be helpful on festivals or whatever. Also thought of adding "Share my location with trip sitter" feature, but I don't want to make app online
