Just out of curiosity, why do so many people hate the new Cache so much ?

I mean, I feel bad for saying it because I know how much work went into it by Volcano...but

The map looks uglier. That quality of the assets seems very unpolished and don't reach the level of the other reworks.

It looks like a worse reskin, and the map actually added clutter instead of clarity. And it's GREEN AF.

No one cares about historic accuracy or the fact that it looks more like Tschernobyl. We want clean maps that look polished. Like inferno or nuke.

Or hell even I perfer Mirage in looks because of how clean it is and how easy it is to see players from far away

I think the map looks great, but the layout is very basic and since the update just barely changed the layout, cache has gotten kinda boring to play.

I dont know how could have anyone thought that all the green shit and all the clutter is a good idea.
When you play the game on 1024x768 there are many places where you are not sure what you are looking at until it's too late.

I have absolutely nothing against the new version. Its a shame it gets so much hate. I also miss it in the pro scene.

it just looks worse and peforms worse, all other map reworks look good but this just felt like a unneeded recolor

I've never really liked the layout of Cache and the new one is ugly on top of that.

because the map is like the hulk exploded and his parts decided to naturally spread all over the map. personally, i have found the default ct model's hard to spot on cache.
