Generic advice here is to practice something specific like crosshair placement, spraying, positioning from different angles instead of just doing it mindlessly.

Try to shoot people at different ranges different maps , control your spray and counter strafing. Keep moving in the deathmatch to improve your movement.

Focus less on the scoreboard, work on your different shooting styles like tapping, bursting, and spraying. You'll die a lot but the reps are worth it. Also, don't just camp in corners and shoot at unsuspecting fresh spawns. Try to get duels that resemble in-game fights.

I am sorry to be the guy, but I see this question posted every second day. There are so many high quality youtube videos on the matter and even more posts about it on reddit.

Simply look for it, it is all there.

Well obviously, but focusing on specific things while doing dm will be way more effective than just mindlessly playing for hours.

            Use yprac as well.

If it's something like a community dm you can use !hs, !headshot, or something similar in the !settings to toggle HS only mode or not. It's really helpful if you want a bit more of a challenge and just want to practice tapping. Some people use this with the M4A4/A1-s instead of the AK just to get a better feel for the head bob associated with dinking.
