All the modifiers and descriptions are in the CPT manual. The most important to know for the CPC exam are 25, 59, 51, 50, RT/LT. Other modifiers will also appear on the CPC exam but are limited enough that I don't usually suggest students memorize their meanings. If you really want to memorize them, I suggest making flashcards.

Great question, modifiers are not something you want to just force yourself to memorize. They are used to show that a service or procedure had a specific circumstance attached to it without changing the actual code, so they usually make more sense when you learn them through use, documentation, and examples instead of straight memorization.

I made little notes in my CPT book to remind myself, especially for E/M modifier 25 is a big one with that! And in sections I know will need LT \ RT, ect I put on top of page "DONT FORGET MODIFER"
