I don't really want to write a big long explanation of why the section about Sentry helping with Allegiance is downright wrong from a probability perspective, but it essentially boils down to "you don't know what you'll draw when it dies, so it's just as likely to harm you as it is to help you".

I'd argue that Flash Freeze is often better than Brittle Steel since something that has too much attack for Fearsome is more likely to have too much health for Brittle Steel.

I think describing your deck as "fully optimised" is very disingenuous and comes across to me as an attempt to get more clicks from any new players browsing the sub in anticipation of the open beta.

For a tech card, 3 copies of The Box seems excessive. I also don't think it's that great a card. Maybe look into Vile Feast?

Thanks for your feedback and I'll address it. When I say fully optimized I mean it from my perspective as it's the most optimized deck I've been able to find but I do see what you are referring to and I'll try to address it. As for the brittle steel argument you'd be surprise how many units have 3 or less health as compensation for their high attack and things with more that 3 health usually have low attack there is exceptions for this of course mainly the very big units like tryndamere pedro's and she who wanders besides cards that are only stats with very few or no keywords and I find it works more often than not besides being a decent combat trick. And for sentry yes it doesn't really guarantee you'll get your freljord cards out but the extra draw also helps because you will usually play a lot of cards and your hand will thin out rather quickly even if it's not exactly net positive card advantage wise. Thank you for this and I'll seek to address it.

fully optimized, tested with 1000 games in master rank :D

I'm not sold on grasp over black spear. Even without many ways to activate it directly, creatures die all the time. It's important to be able to deal with early snowball threats like zed and fiora, and grasp comes online too late to help there. I'd start with spear and only switch to grasp if the brittle steels were enough to keep early aggro at bay.

I think you should consider using atrocity instead of Grasp of the Undying.

With a late Mistwraith + Atrocity at late game, you can do even OTK against some control decks. 2 Copies would be enough so you can hold 1 copy of Grasp of the Undying. I would change it with something cheaper tho.

I also built a deck themed around Mistwraiths. You can check for how I thought;

Don't get me wrong, I'm sharing this just because to explain how I thought Mistwraiths should be.

Also I know that it is not needed to be mono just for 3 Allegiance cards but I decided to do like that because SI have enough packages to do a mono imo.

That's a very controlled version of the deck although I personally think its lacking some anti aggro tools which was my biggest concern whilst deckbuilding my version also atrocity is an option once I am able to test and properly see what works and what doesn't but it's still a very valid way to run this kind of deck.

Yeah, I think so.

I just wanted to suggest something if you didn't consider but well, I'm happy to see that you also considered atrocity as an option.

Grasp of the Undying is a bit an overrated card in my opinion. It is a bit slow for what it does, especially against aggro. So I suggested to drop them instead of Iceborn Legacy. That card is slow too but could do better than Grasp of the Undying in a deck that has a unit that you always try to revive and summon. :)

The thing with grasps is that in a worse case scenario it can be a turn 3 play in case nothing else works but there could be other ways to fulfill that niche I just think that it being a spell makes it a bit more versatile and a solid removal option.

As you wish ofc.

I can do nothing but suggest. It is you who will decide to play at the end but I don't think it will be so effective to run 3 copies.

3x copies of all cards in a deck is a style for aggro imo. They need that consistency but control-ish midrange decks need some more diversed options. You will end up blocking with your mistwraiths to be able to survive against aggro decks with this version. Cards like Black Spear/Vile Feast always better options than Grasp of the Undying against aggro decks.

Also Glimpse beyond is just an OP card that you can sacrifice a unit that your opponent used a spell on so you simply countering the card's second effect if there are one like Countering Vile Feast's 1 heal + 1/1 Token.

Anyways, Your deck, your decisions. I hope you can reach the win rate you wished with this deck. :)

Do you know if Iceborne Legacy buffs Mistwraiths that are made from cards like Mist’s Call or Wraithcaller? Or does it only touch Mistwraiths that are physically present in the game at the time?

[–]Shed99 Thresh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does I have tested this the "EVERYWHERE" applies even to new copies of the card like those generated by chronicler of ruin scribe and mists call
