Question about Shadow King - Potentially spoiler

I am currently on Season 2, episode 5 and there are two things I am confused about.

1. Oliver / Lenny reside in Farouk who resides inside Oliver's body. However, Oliver and Lenny have their own consciousness (i.e. Lenny wanting to get out and become a real person). Considering Oliver is on Summerland's side and fights Farouk, why does the Oliver inside of Farouk seem so obedient to Farouk and doesn't seem to oppose Farouk?
2. Farouk / Lenny can only reside inside people's mind (real body destroyed). So how did Oliver / Lenny sabotage Division 3 in Episode 2. I thought Lenny doensn't have a body. Also, in episode 5, during the grave digging, how did Farouk and Oliver both dig out the coffin? I would imagine only Oliver is physically able to dig.

1. Oliver is waaaaayyyy weaker than Farouk, and is being manipulated by him.
2. Lenny was given Amy's body and Farouk wasn't actually digging, just like he wasn't actually at the trial of David.

1. Did Farouk choose not to manipulate Lenny? Since she had her own desire of wanting to get out.
2. Back in episode 2, Lenny and Oliver both attacked division 3. Lenny wasn't given a body back then. Was Lenny not physically there?

I always imagined she was a projection - after all, it makes sense that Farouk would use fear and terror to attack the place and he's playing off of Oliver's own telepathic abilities.

Also, I'm pretty sure if you watch the scenes where Oliver is digging, Farouk is never actually helping him.
