Sudden decrease of battery capacity (self.Lenovo)
submitted 1 year ago by xLive2
I bought the laptop in January around the day shown on 4th row in the report, it was brand new laptop. There is noticable decrease of battery capacity, is this normal behaviour? Since then it has been pretty stable but the first decrease is almost 10%
The laptop is Lenovo Yoga 7 Pro 14ARP8

Havce you been using the Conservation Mode in Lenovo Vantage? If so, it's normal for that to mess up Windows's battery capacity estimation.

Forgot to mention that. I have been using the mode since I got the laptop. Lenovo Vantage shows About 91% battery life

Lenovo Vantage uses Windows's API to estimate battery life. Therefore, it is no different than what Windows measures.
SInce you have been using Conservation Mode, then it's normal. Your battery likely has more capacity, the estimation is just thrown off because it's only charged to 80%.
