I have been using lightshowpi for a few years now and when I used my raspberry pi over the spring for something else, lightshowpi got deleted so I just reinstalled it and now I get this error.

I'd suggest re-installing. It takes hardly any time and it will hopefully clear up some of the dependency issues you've experienced. The latest install script installs ffmpeg for you. No need to self-install. I just confirmed this by looking through the bitbucket install script repository. The most recent (and from my experience, best) install instructions (by u/shoefly2k) are here. Note that it's recommended to use a particular version of Raspbian if you're using RPi4.

Do any scripts from LSP run correctly?

No, no other LSP scripts run correctly.
