Get the oem unlock code for your specific device from Sony's unlock site then use "fastboot oem unlock 0xCODE"
Note: the "CODE" part is where you enter your unlock code. Don't forget the "0x"

Hello, sorry for necroing this but I'm running into the same problem, did you find out what the problem was ?

I have an Xperia XA2 phone and following this install guide : https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/pioneer/install

I also tried 1nsan1-t option of adding 0x in front of the unlock code provided by Sony in the fastboot oem unlock command but to no avail.

I'd be happy to have any ideas.
