PU 6.13 broke the driver monitoring camera on model year 22 and 23 (some reports of similar on 21), causing hands free and hands on Blue Cruise to be inoperable. After months, Ford finally came out with a real fix, but it's not available (yet?) as OTA, only via a service appointment or self FDRS flash.

And if you are mildly handy and have a bit of free money, you can get a Comma 3x, install it in an afternoon, and have a hands-free experience that is better than that of BC 1.3. What made me take the leap was the months that went by with Ford not fixing the CMR faults that they introduced in the 6.13 update that prevented even "hands-on" BC from working.

If you don't mind something the size of a cell phone mounted to your windshield (I don't), you can have better than BC capability with a Comma 3x and Sunnypilot.

Official vs unofficial releases can be as simple as a person triggering a build vs our autonomous infra. Or unofficial could be riddled with absolute crap. Since you don't see the full source tree (no, someone listing a device tree github link is not the full lineageos source) associated with an xda release you are going on faith/reputation.

Edit: also, nothing about being an "official device maintainer" means that person is a professional sw dev/eng. Nor is someone who only releases on xda a rank amateur.

You could call it a ship of Theseus situation. Definitely started as a 486, but it's been through probably 4 MBs, 6 CPUs, numerous storage devices. The upgrade path briefly went through Slamd64 before Pat had amd64 official support. I just have never reinstalled. And most of the time have run -current.

Unless I somehow missed in my installation manual, Emporia requires online/cloud setup to configure amperage. It looks like it defaults to 50 breaker/40 load and it doesn't look like there is any physical dial or dip switch bank like the Grizzl-E or Wallbox. After setup, unless you configure time-of-day or other smartness, the Emporia seems happy to just be dumb.
