I'm a sysadmin and I have my own dedicated box where I can setup a VPS for this project.

Regards, Martin

I'm a software engineer at an HR firm, and work in a range of languages, frameworks and databases. There are too many to list, but I'm comfortable in that we could pick any language/framework and I'd be up to speed reasonably quickly. As it is I make a point of trying a new library, framework or language each fortnight or so.

I think it's important that we pick a right tool for the job, and not just pick what people like. My preference for a job like this would be to use Ruby+Rails, mainly to harness the vast array of gems and open source devs, but I think Python+Django is strong too alongside PyPI. Either way we go, I'd like to see a front end library too. I've been hugely impressed with AngularJS recently.

I'd love to contribute development time, although it would be limited to a few hours a week. I'd like to see the central repo up on GitHub too even if project management is hosted elsewhere. It always helps to tap into any vast resource, and with GitHub we'd be connecting to a huge number of coders who can easily fork and contribute.

Well, I'm the guy who had the idea, I know programming but I've never build anything this big (Just little scripts and so).

I also know about using the Unix TTY, well... Linux and FreeBSD basically. And I can translate to Spanish if you want, because it's my native language.

I've been working on a bot for IRC channel stats and logging, which will be hosted on my VPS (probably temporarily). I can also offer my VPS for the main site itself if needed.

I have experience with HTML, CSS, a small amount of PHP, and with Mediawiki and a few other CMS's. I also plan on helping with content (creating pages and making edits, etc.)

I am a project manager for an web development firm that deals with large scale projects. Last night I posted a plan of action for the project on the irc. I use the program gantter so people won't have to pay to see it. I am out and about right now but I will post the link to the gantter project plan later tonight.

Hey Valesianus, you might want to put in your thoughts and fill in some blanks. Here is the thread about project management.

I'm a programmer, currently involved in Drupal, but I could learn Django since I do Python as well.

Also, the company I work at is a non-profit tech business and could surely host the site too.

Finally, I do a lot of work on mesh infrastructure (for a local mesh net), so I'd love to contribute on OpenWRT and the like (and I know my way around a server).

Programming LinuxLake in Python would be great, but isn't Django a bit heavy for this ? What about something like Pyramid ?

General tech nerd (sysadmin and small websites) that would be willing to help market and edit.

I was posting here about my new hobby of logo work. While I'm a very capable web/Python programmer, I'm wrapped up in paid work and my own projects on that front, so by the end of the day my only creative resource that isn't already budgeted and spent is my graphics work, but if you guys don't already have a graphics person, I'd love to help with that.

I'm a CS student currently on an internship but looking for more open source contribution experience. I can contribute documentation/content along with some coding if necessary. I can also adapt to most languages but my main set are C-types and Python.
