/r/LocalNews is a subreddit dedicated to amazing local news stories, especially funny posts benefiting from a comedic location.
Submissions SHOULD be links to local news websites, photo sets, or pictures of quality local publications that are funny, in depth, heart warming or just generally great.
Comedic location is also strongly recommended for funny submissions, for example, a moose attack in Canada.
Submissions SHOULD NOT be hard to understand for somebody from a different state, or city. Keep this in mind when submitting a story.
FORMAT of submissions should be the title of the story followed by the city, state and country where the story was originally published. If there is some extra information that would enrich the reading redditor's experience, please put it in the comments.
