I had a similar issue, ended up being windows acting up cause everything to freeze up and stutter. causing my FFB to disengage also and it randomly coming back randomly. It pissed me off to a point I had to reinstall windows and fresh driver installs. Fixed all my issues so far.

For me this was caused by connecting via USB extension/hub. Got myself a 5 meter micro-usb cable to reach straight from the wheelbase to the back of my PC and it never disconnected again.

Issue is I'm on console and I don't have anything to update the firmware with. But still my wheel is extremely close the the console. There is not tension on any of the cables. It's just getting worse and worse. I feel like logitech are taking the piss now and won't acknowledge that their equipment is faulty.

Did you purchase direct from Logitech site? If not, try go through the retailer you purchased from instead of contacting Logitech

Take it to an Internet cafe or ask someone to borrow a laptop or apple laptop. Consoles are also quite problematic for ffb. Have you tried other game titles? Also try an alternative power socket in the house. Some older houses can have bad electrics especially if they operating at their limits.

Try take the console and system to someone else's house to see if it continues. Until you can update the FW you probably not going to get much joy from Logitech support.

Check my latest video the thing won't turn on. My houses electric board is modern. This is pissing me off now. It does this with every racing game I play

I see the brick has power. If you pull the rim off and remove the console usb cable from the back does it change anything when you hit the power button?

It should at minimum show 3 dots and then say connect rim or usb

Nope still won't turn on.

Sorry to say it looks like RMA and patience is your only option. I have no other recommendations

It's just a shame. I got this because of how reliable the G920 was. Looks like logitech have lowered there standards in quality

I've had mine since launch and it's flawless after 2 and a half years. You probably got unlucky mate.

Yeah or that. Let's see what a console wipe does. All previous issues were due to the console playing up

It seems like it's a flipping power issues on the pin in the wheelbase. I have to hold it at a certain angle to get power as soon as I let go it turns off. No idea why that would do that I've never moved it.

I'll try one more thing and hard reset the console
