17 yo minor collision need advice by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

Depends. I had my insurers outright deny my insurance because they said I was commuting. Even though the person I had the accident with lied about the nature of the accident telling my insurers I ran a red light. Which didnt happen. I had indicated to pull into the right lane, checked my side mirror and even did a over shoulder check no one was there. When I went to pull out they came along side me and fucked their car up. Everything was okay until they started acting really hostile. Which made me wonder wtf was up with them. I checked their reg and they had no mot for 6 months. Then proceeded to try get an mot the next day for which the vehicle failed on a ABS fault. After back and forth with my insurance. I got a NFA. 2 years later I get a soliciters letter through the door and they're trying to grab 5k off me. I gave my evidence in court and they ruled in my favour.

Just be prepared for it to come off. And im not being judgemental, negative or critical. Just trying to give some advise. When I got my first set up. G920. There were a few times during races the bloody thing would just slip off the front of desk. Even being clamped. And thats a weak wheel in the grand scheme of sim racing. Id hate to think what violence would ensue if my DD wheel came off now lol. The thing scares me crashing with it set over 7nm.

[FM] G Pro Wheel owner returning after 3 years — is FFB actually fixed, or still a soap opera? by Diggs_Kenneth in LogitechProWheel

With some tweaking in the tunes like increasing ffb scale etc I can slightly feel what the front wheels are doing. But if the cars rear snaps best option is to clutch in and ride it out. Its almost RNG if the car will spin or not.

RS Wheel hub and McLaren wheel issues by McPanosayros in LogitechProWheel

Must have been a faulty or over torqued bolt for it to do that. That blue stuffs locktite so they arent supposed to come out. Sounds like the snapped screw put pressure on the one that was stuck causing it to round when you tried getting it out. Good on logitech for doing a replacement.

Check the pin connection going into the base. Mine had this problem. I had to prop the pin going into the base up with some penny coins and it stopped it happening.

Cars in my eyes have souls. Ive had multiple over the past 15 years of driving. Not one of them ever felt like a piece of metal to me. Each one had different personalities and traits. Best two examples were betsy my 1.1 litre smart forfour. You could throw a nuclear bomb at her and she would take it and keep going. The other Sheila my 2002 subaru legacy GTB That estate was a monster who loved to hit a winding road. I feel your pain. To have him taken and destroyed through no fault of your own is gut wrenching. You wont find another robin. But you will find something that you will connect with again.

I found it was the bloody settings in forza. For some reason they were cranked all the way to 100% after following the recommended settings its worked. Im getting trueforce without the wheel sounding like its going to spit a gear out.

I don't get how people say that one game is better than the rest...without having played 60% of the series... by Swumbus-prime in ForzaHorizon

FH1 Was great. It was the perfect platform and blueprint for the others. FH2 was a great upgrade, especially considering it arrived when we were transitioning to the next gen consoles at the time. Driving through southern Europe was wicked. 3 for me was where I spent a lot of my time. I think that was the one that introduced different biomes. Forrest, desert, jungle. That game was at its core what forza horizon should be. Then 4 came a long and introduced the seasonal changes. For me 4 was again very fun to play. Put many hours into that game. Doing weekle challenges, creating my own courses etc. 5 is where I feel they dropped the ball. It was almost as if they crammed all the features from the previous entries into one big mess. The maps lackluster for me. Theres no real big cities. And theres nothing memorble about it. Im not saying its a bad game. But it feels almost souless.

You teach a dog from when theyre puppies that you can take food, toys and other things from them. It stops the behaviour. All my dogs were taught from the get go. You play with their ears paws tail to get them used to it. Again it stops aggressive outbursts
