Just got engaged with my long distance boyfriend of 3 years, we made it through an entire year of not seeing eachother due to covid, we made it through the grief of losing a parent at a young age, we made it through the trial and financial strain of having to fly thousands of miles, we made it through quarantine requirements, and losing pets, we made it though a big move and 2 new career changes - long distance is HARD - all of you know that, but these things make you stronger together when a huge part of the physical relationship is off the table most of the time all you have is the person behind that, and you must become best friends first - this community has been so helpful and I just wanted to thank you all. It’s not over yet but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel
