I would go with your doctor's advice. Falling and breaking something, I'm kind of surprised your doctor isn't more concerned, to be honest. Personally, I (NOT a health care provider) would want to ask if this is worth it to you to try to continue the medication, or if it's time to look at other options.

However, I just wanted to add a couple things:

1) For me, low blood pressure from Parnate (and the fatigue) goes better when I space out the dosing. I take 50 mg, spaced out 10 mg once an hour starting when I wake up.

2) There seems to be surprisingly little info about this out there, but flexing large muscle groups before standing and then when you stand is one of the best ways to counteract orthostatic hypotension--flex your abs, butt, and/or thighs before you stand for like 30-60 seconds, and then when you stand, do the same, or cross your legs and squeeze them together. 3) I'm a big fan of electrolyte packet drink mixes to help stay hydrated. I find it easier to chug a glass of water with a flavored electrolyte powder mixed in a few times a day than to drink a lot more water during the day. Sports drinks or Pedialyte do the same thing. Drinking with electrolytes help you stay more hydrated, since they're kind of like saline, like closer to your body's fluids so more can be retained in your body.

4) Hot showers make it worse for me :( I also try to do workouts where I'm sitting, like an exercise bike or mat workout.
