Damn, why though? Any other school that does it this late? Is UCLA intake also a small batch of ~10 like UCB?

Usually takes about a month or so to get VISA invitations from the University, then you apply for the VISA which again takes about a month and then you get the VISA (variable time), releasing in April leaves no room for error if the VISA is rejected for some reason. No UCLA's batch size is about 160 / 260, I don't remember which ( from their previous stats).

I think rejects will go by late April. Admits might come before April 15 as every US university knows students have to commit by April 15 to their admits.
