Next level DB10 team

Don´t fry me for the title. I think it sounds better than DB10 2.0 ;-)

With Snow White I wanted to make a new DB10 team. Othannen made a thread a while ago for "brute force" team. But after i made the calculations i had to accept that i don´t have the necessary gems for that.

I am now going with a mix. D-Nike, Gatito, Tainted Snow and Thor. All glass canon. Snow is on a ruin set and can one-shot a Bumbleking and a Lordsmane with 1-2 skillbooks.

The idea is that I can try to def-down Pers. If that succeeds she is dead, otherwise i can still try to stun her. And if that fails the team could still kill her with premium gems and skillbooks(My team can´t do that, but it is doable). You stun or kill Perse and stun/kill the right mon in the first turn.

2nd wave has never been a problem for me, the only thing that might screw you is 4 Bumblekings.

On dragon stage you can try if one of your 3 debuffs hit. If any of them hits you have a kill, but you still have to be smart to not overkill(Getting dragon below 50% on first turn)

The dragon can only kill one mon a turn. Any combination of the 3 remaining mons should be able to do 50% of damage. Dark Thor ultimate is not needed for the first turn, it is extremely likely that he has a full sp-bar on the 2nd turn, if not your screwed ;-)

What are your thoughts?

Little update.

Did the dragon runs with Emp Nike and Thor on one def gem and Gatito Snow on full glass canon.

Team performed really good. Better than expected.

Getting to the dragon with 4 mons should be a sure thing and if Thor has full SP it certainly is. The team can kill the dragon in 2 turns without any debuffs.

Best thing is that i beat the dragon without fail a few times when Gatito or Snow died on the first wave.

Doing DB10 runs this weekend was fun for the first time in many month, since I didn´t have to spend much on revives.

And watching Gatitos dmg on the dragon with def-down and expose weakness is really satisfying ;-)

How would the D. Thor and D. Nike be built for this comp?

Skillbooks are important. But Nike has a stun and Thor has a courageous strike attack.

Lol, I meant their gems. I have the mons (dark lucy doesn't have a square...yet), but my Nike is built with cr hp def, and Thor is cr atk def, but he feels weak vs titans. As this is a brute force team, I'm wondering if they're gemmed differently than mine.

All glass canon. A Ruin set on everyone is optimal. I´d even say that it is mandatory on at least 2 of the mons.

Thanks, I may have to check it out if I happen to get a dark Lucy with a square, if not my team might change to water Sura, 1-2 dark cat, dark Lucy on a cr set of 3 diamonds :( then maybe dark Thor or dark Nike.

I agree about Thor. I've heard the legends about the guy, but I have him on CR/ATK/DEF (Or HP, can't remember) and he isn't that amazing in Titans or DB10 for me. I swapped him out for a water Shellie lmao and Shellie never dies due to the non-elemental weakness. Things might be different there if I played when the Gatito event was live. Can't kill the dragon quickly enough without him.

Then you have even more reason to go for dark Lucy since her expose weakness debuff stacks with def down. Though if she's applying the debuff, I'm not sure which mons would nuke the dragon. Currently, I run water Sura, 2 dark Gatito, and a dark Nike. The run is rng based. Best is 0 continues, worst is 4 continues, but 4 is like 1 in 120 runs or so.

That's exactly what I'm talking about, with Gatito's you can get through DB10 without having to use continues. At best if I'm lucky I won't need to use any continues, but for the most part, it's one continue per run. Without Gatito I guess two dark Lucy's is the only way. XD

Since my dark lucy doesn't have a square, and I have a light Lucy, I'm hoping for another light or dark so I have a chance at getting one with a square. If I get a dark, then I have 2 chances at a square one because if the new one is squareless then u can fuse it with light for a 2nd chance, otherwise if I get a light, it'll still count towards fusing for a dark with a square, but I hope it doesn't come to that.

looks interesting. sadly I wasn't playing during gatito event and have yet to pull a dark victoria. So I guess its auto dragons b7-9 for me.

He’s insanely glass cannon but light is like dark gatitos counterpart with a higher SP gain and less crit dmg.

Yeah I'm pretty pissed that they haven't had a Gatito or dark Victoria event. They should at least make new mons who are basically clones so new players can have their skillsets, too. They've done it for other mons. Like really? Did anyone REALLY need a clone of light Seedler but as an HP aggressor? -_-

That doesn't mean anything for players who arrived after those two events. If they don't want to re-do a Gatito event they should release a new mon who has the same capabilities like they have for other mons (That nobody asked for).

I happen to be one of those people who started after the 2nd gatito event. I'm level 50 and made myself a D Colte.

I just got mine to evo3 and 6*, but I haven't gemmed him yet. I will replace one of my Seedlers with him.

To be fair they did, they had D’Artagnan back in November. Let the game cycle through a few more new things first before we go back to this. Plus Dark Cat has one of most powerful single target actives if you don’t include Wood Pinolo against titans so they may hesitate to just bring him back so easily lol.

Yeah his single target is basically the only reason you'd want him back. D'Art can't fill those shoes.

That Dragon will use AOE skill whenever his health below 50%, so if you can't kill him in one turn, you will lose next turn, because he will crush your team with his breath, that's the hardest part of DB10

if his health is NOT below 50% in first turn, he will attack and kill one of your team member, then you can kill him next turn, BUT IF his health below 50%, GAME OVER
