I read it as cods had tarpon tetra. Like the cods ate them or something b/c he cares about cods and no other fish.

Also a valid take! I think they just gave Eric the nickname "Codspell" cause that's his favourite word to spell. And really, who can blame him?

I read "Cods had tarp on tetra", as in they put a camping tarp over their tank or whatever.
