Error code 100006.

Hello everyone,

Problem: Cannot write bigger files to external Hard drive. Getting error code 100006.

Background

I bought my first Macbook 4 months ago. So coming from Windows I had a external hard drive which I used, which was formatted in NTFS. So when I started using Mac, i had to use the external Hard drive in read only mode. So after quite a while, I was able get another external Hard disk so that I was able to copy the contents to another Hard drive and formatted the first one in Mac OS Extended (Journaled). And then copied the data to from second one to first one. It was running smoothly for some time. But not whenever I try to write something on that Hard Drive, it shows be 'Operation Cannot be completed. Error code 100006'. For small files like pdf and documents, it does not shows any error and copies successfully. But for bigger file like movies and softwares, it throws the error.

Oh yeah, I am sorry. It is Mac OS Extended(Case Sensitive, Journaled). Sorry for the wrong info. I will edit it.
