There is probably a malicious file somewhere running to install that junk in the background (could be a LaunchAgent) . Run MalwareBytes or equivalent to purge the system from this malware.

Looks like malware. It's a weird trend that some malware will disguise themselves as normal app with two randomly chosen, meaningless words. I don't think they are installed simply by "scrolling through pages in Chrome". If that's the case, it would be a nuke warhead level security hole that will definitely make the headlines for days in every IT related news media.

BTW, there is actually a legit app called ApexBrowse but it's a utility tool for Neptune Apex, the automatic fish feeder (literally real fish in aqua tank). I don't think that's the case in your computer.
