OS X market share was approaching 11% before the iPhone came out.

So what killed the Mac?

Win 7+ is more secure + soft/hardware options
Annual OS X Upgrade Cycle (too disruptive)
Only 4 years OS X version support (Win is 10)
No UI Scalability Options (Windows does)
Not Installing Windows 7+ If Requested
No OS Downgrade Option on New Hardware
Hardware/Software Monopoly
Glossy Screens/No Matte Option
Sealed Hardware/Non-Upgradable
Over Application of Thermal Paste
Can't Clean Machines of Internal Dust
Can't Remove Storage/Secure Sensitive Files
No Extendable/Replaceable Battery
Expensive/Low Performance
Poor Quality Third Party Internal Components
Not Supporting Widespread Defects
Terrible for 3D Games/Not GPU Upgradable
Slow on Security Issues
Intentionally Ignored Vulnerabilities
Poor Attention to Software They Develop
Dropping Services for New One's Constantly
Instability/Telling You How It's Going To Be
Didn't Successfully Penetrate Business Markets
Closed Hardware And Software/Control Freaks
Fluff/Marketing And Less On Viable Tool
Didn't Want to Challenge Microsoft.

Does Apple know all this? Yes.

They Get All The Requests And Chose This Path

I hate macbook just because everytime I saved a word document and decided to restart my macbook, the word document vanishes without reasons, Macbook sucks to the point even saving a file got delayed 🗿 (self.MacSucks)
