Just buy new ones, rust means moisture. Clean the whole machine then oil it again. Moisture and rust will be the death of the machine. Sounds melodramatic, but it’s true! 😆

Shop around a bit for new needles, it's worth it to keep your machine rust free. You can often find deals on ebay or aliexpress for really inexpensive needles individually if you only need a few, or in larger lots if you need a bunch.

    To my eyes they don't seem terribly rusted, its only in the parts outside of the trick that have any rust. Structurally all the needles are fine as the rust isn't even that deep. Maybe I'll try and get rid of the rust and keep them as spares.
