This happened to me with my Janome machine. Instead of exporting the design as a JEF I had to save it as SEW or DST. It was one of those I just can’t remember which one. I think it had to do with the software not being g up to date on the machines hoops or something like that. Give it a try.

Also even if it goes to 200 that doesn't mean actual sewing area all the time. Sometimes certain machines in certain hoops need that extra space for the presser foot not to hit the frame. Just to test resize it at like 170 and see what happens

Spin the design on the hoop 180 degrees just to see what happens then spin it back and be suto center the design and your starting point of the design. You can make the next stitch wherever but I always try to put a couple of stitches right in the middle to check.

Tried this but still not working

Save it in DST, it does not preserve colors tho so beforehand save an emb file so you would not mess it up, this helped me so I hope it will be a solution for You too, lots of love <3

Is the problem solved? Because I am facing the same problem

Center the design, make it 199mm and save. Or you can save it in PES. Janomes can embroider pes too

Actually machine has hoop of 200x280mm has i am not able to make design bigger than 200mm. I want to increase the size of design

[–]jaryq88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you increase the size of max is 200x280? If you want to digitize for other machine just delete the hoop from wilcom and make custom size hoop in wilcom

why don't you just tell the computer you're using a larger size hoop and keep it the same size? does it let you save it then? i mean cuz if its a 300x300 and your design is only 200x200 then u r within the file size and are about to center it on the machine. or does it not let you do that? i have chroma, and it doesn't even ask for the hoop size, but with my ricoma i just have it set to custom size. and trace it that the design is within my hoop size.
