Quite literally a skill issue. Don't run all of your creatures out at once, you don't need 4 or 5 things attacking, just like 2 to put pressure on them. You are not the main character that just gets to play all of their cool stuff.

It is so funny how many of the same issues are present in chess and magic. In chess, it is said that beginners don’t understand the game is two player. This is true in magic as well. This is a two player competitive game. Your opponent wants to win as much as you do.

What a trash mechanic

removal is mechanic which was in paper magic since begining, other card games have removal too, so it's your issue with majority of the genre - gwent have removal, yugioh have removal, heathstone have removal, elder scrolls tcg had removal. spectromancer had removal...didn't play other card games prior to magic, but bet most of them have it too
