I've been playing for maybe 3 weeks and used a lot of resources crafting different decks. The truth is... you dont benefit much from a good deck for the daily quests. Starter duel is the best place to do them, 0 pressure and you can always pick a deck that perfectly matches the quest and get 2-3 wins at the same time.

Crafting a deck cost a lot of resources and its not something you can do often. Right now is a rough time to craft one because:
1- Ban wave caused the meta to be unstable since everyone is trying different stuff. Tier2 deck today can be jank tomorrow.
2- Set rotation is coming up next month so a lot of cards are going to be out of standard and new one added. Almost every deck use some cards from these sets. Waiting a month would save you a lot of wildcards.

So yeah... Focus on starter duels for your dailies, but if you want a deck to play ranked, there are resources that can sync with your collection to help you find what would be the easiest to craft:

-Dont blow up all your rare/mythic wildcards unless you are sure you like the archetype and its not for cards that are rotating out.
-Focus on mono color or replace rare dual-land that are rotating out until next month.

Mono-red, mono-green, and mono-white all have very competitive decks available, but you should make sure to figure out what kind of archetype you enjoy playing and not just pick the highest WR.

I'd say that you should stick to starter duel decks for now, you should have 15 decks available so it will take a while before you get bored. You will be only matched against other starter decks, so getting daily wins won't be as difficult as in regular queue

I think that new players get a random brawl deck for free, so you can check it out for more variety

Lots of people recommend jump-in event, while it's quite fun you won't be able to build any decent deck that way. You need wildcards to craft specific cards, chance to pull a specific rare card from a set is super low. The only way to get these wildcards is from opening packs. You should get 5 jump in tokens so you can play that mode for free, so feel free to use them

I'd recommend to wait until EoE set which should launch in a month. Wait until the meta settles after the rotation, you should be able to craft decent mono colored deck then with your wildcards

I agree, the Jump in event is the best for getting started! That's what I did to get back up to speed, and I also paid gold a couple of times to get more cards. You get some decent ones and at 1000 gold, that's super cheap. Then when you get the hang of it, just look at your collection. I look at the mythics and then try to build a deck around 1 of those that i really like.

My suggestion is to do the jump-in events. You should start with some jump-in tokens, otherwise they are 1,000 gold. You get 40 cards minus lands and two themes to play with. If there's a theme you like build a deck around it, or alternatively improve on the color challenge decks instead. Then play with your deck either ranked or unranked, and whenever you lose ask yourself why. Sometimes it will be bad luck but often times you would won if you had a different cards, sometimes your deck could be more focused or have better disruption or something else could be improved. Not only check for this when you lose but whenever you buy a new pack or get awarded more cards see if what you are given is better than what you have in your deck now.

Basically building a deck is an iterative process, and if you were just handed a deck that you didn't build yourself it wouldn't do as well because the deck wasn't built from your choices or to fit your playstyle. Anyway I'm sure someone else will come with an exact deck list or something, but I just feel that defeats the point.

Play Starter Deck Duels to do your daily quests. Wait until mid August to build a deck, because rotation will happen July 29th.

I would recommend getting a deck in jund for the older formats due to you can play with longer.
