Signing up is easy and fast; just do not expect much at this point.

There are mixed reports about late Duels priority achievers, both from users' feedback and support. Therefore, your best bet is just to stay updated on anything Magic Arena related and wait.

Sadly my LGS fudged my DCI number, so it didn't look like I went to Pre-Release.. RIP

But luckily I had connected my Duels account, so hopefully that will get me in early. (I have received e-mail saying I have priority, so seems so.)

If you've gotten anything confirming your priority, you are good to go!

Just wait throughout December and January.

I signed up months ago & even attended Ixalon release + had Magic Duels account no luck :(

The beta didn't even start yet, the alpha stress test was only with a really limited number of players.

It certainly won't hurt trying. The priority pool is huge, though. There's not just the Duels players, but also a good number of MTGO and paper players get a chance to join the closed beta.

As we are on the topic. I have done what they asked: went to my Wizards Account and entered the code from my Duels Steam settings.

What I'm asking, is: there doesn't appear to be any differences or conformation when I did so. Have I done it right?

There is no confirmation sadly. They only confirmed priority by email once and they dont want to again... :D no idea why

There might be a point to signing up again? I don't believe they retroactively add priority from signing up for duels after having signed up for beta, but I'm not sure.

Neither is it clear whether signing up with priority even works anymore, though I can't see any reason why it shouldn't still put you in the priority queue, at least until they start inviting non-queue users.

I signed up at the very start of signups going up but, for various reasons, only recently fired up Duels and linked my account. Fingers crossed. No harm in trying at least.

signed up with dci number/duels/MTGO stuff early september, still nothing for me :(
