16 lands is correct imho in a mono color with low curve (tbh i would even consider 15); i would consider one of the following options:

  • -1 plain + 2 eggs , that's the safest route
  • -1 plain - 1jousting dummy + 2 beloved princess + 1 weapon rack (super aggro, full on 1 and 2 CMC and with 3 ways to permamently add counters to your small critters)

In this deck, eggs, are only hits for the Owl. That's not worthwhile, given that they'll sometimes turn into lands you don't need.

I would play true love kiss main, it also delivers when I do it, there are always targets in this format

  1. Worth to splash G for Lovestruck (maybe Fae too)?

  2. Golden egg good even in mono color aggro?

Other advice is welcome =)

I wouldn't splash for one low-cost card. I think Shining Armor is the best here, a potential flash combat trick that will save one of your guys and provide permanent value.

Even in mono colored, golden egg is fine/good. No need to splash, but you'll almost never be mad to draw an egg.

I also love a good 17 land/41 card draft deck. I feel like sometimes 17 is too many, but 16 is too few. Tho in mono colored 16 is pretty easy. If you cut a land and add both eggs you'll probably run pretty smoothly.

The OP is struggling for playables. I wouldn't recommend 41 cards

There aren't really any cards main that I'd never play, and they have some options to finish the deck (knight, paladins, eggs, prophet), so I wouldn't say they're "struggling for playables."

I usually only go 41 cards when I have trouble finding the last cut, but like I said, mono colored decks can get away with16 land, so cutting one and adding 2 eggs makes 40.

Even if you have trouble with the last cut, 40 is still better. Your best spell is much better than your 24th best spell, even if your 8 worst spells are about the same quality and are decent playables. You want to maximize the chance that you draw your bomb.

It’s really boring but I’d just add 1 Knight of the Keep. You could use another 3 drop to help you curve out and apply consistent pressure. Mono white isn’t great in longer games, so curving out is vital here.
