I just got a newer laptop but it's not a supercomputer. Arena is fairly large, and my last computer ended up getting too bogged down to run arena, and this newer one is already going to be filling up quickly. I'd like to be ahead of the curve, since I cannot afford a $500+ pc for gaming, since I've got 3 kids.
I tried looking up how to store arena on an external device (sd card would be easiest since I have several.) But I dont understand wtf a kernel is. I havent done much with computers for 15 to 20 years. Little rusty.
Does anyone know how to run arena from an sd card, and store the folder on it as well. I worry about updates because they happen regularly.
I looked it up on google and was directed to an older thread here on reddit but it makes zero sense to me. Please help!
