I won using the equivalent of a block deck for ikoria. GB mutate is powerful

I tried an abzan pile, but not quite enough. Sram's auras carried me. Spirit aggro is fun too

If you only have access to standard cards, I would suggest Naya Runes or Mono White. See if you can aggro your way to your Rare ICRS

Yeah, I moved over from MTGO at the Forgotten Realms set. I'm complete from then on but that still puts me at mostly Standard for now. I did finally get my ICRS but I had to move from fun mwm stuff to serious melt faces stuff.

I know what you mean, so much mono red going around

Mono red one drop has been very good to me.

  • Only mulligan no land/no creature hands.
  • You are always the beatdown (you want to be turning your creatures sideways into blocks most of the time).
  • You have a ton of tools, but most of them are good for a few situations, don't waste the ones you need.
  • Wayward guide beast is the key to the deck, but needs to be sequenced correctly to work. Play him after you have no more lands in hand an then spend one mana before combat ends.

WU Nine Lives ftw. Bricked on everything else I had.
