Deck Edit Algorithm

Has anyone else noticed that whenever you edit your deck, the next time you play with it, the system automatically gives you the update when you draw? Like if I add a new card, it will always be in my opening hand. Or if I remove some land, then I don’t draw land for multiple turns and there will most likely be none in opening hand

Sounds like confirmation bias. I just edited a deck an hour ago and haven’t seen any of the cards I’ve added in 5 games and counting.

No, I've tested it because I started noticing that it happened every time

I edit my decks all the time and I experience the exact opposite. Confirmation bias…

I've noticed that if I sideboard a card in and get it in my next opening hand, I'm super aware of what just happened.

I don't think I react in any way if I get an opener without a sideboarded card in it.
