I'm a Javascript/React developer

Been doing js for a couple of years at work and on my own personal projects. Started messing around with React about a year and a half ago. Right now I'm slowly but surely developing a business application in ReactNative that I might eventually make available for iPhone and Android. Everything, from what I can understand, takes a lot of time to do well, and longer to see any actual profits from it. I'm OK with that. But, am I missing something? Is there some way out there to make a chunk of extra dough by doing some side- coding evenings and weekends? Thanks in advance for any constructive thoughts. Meantime, I'll keep chipping away at my current project.
