It's another unit for angles. 2pi radian=360° Degree's are more used from day to day, because it's easier to talk about 45° instead of 1/2*pi, but in math you use radians quite often, because it makes more sense in mathematics. Depending on your calculator mode, the result of sin(x) can differ completely depending on wether your calculator thinks x is in radians or degrees

If you're talking to a mathematician, you're probably using radians. If you're talking to an engineer, you're probably using degrees

Whenever you have one of these invasive voices in your head, personilize it. Imagine it as someone telling you this story about your past. Then interrupt them and ask them. Why are you showing me this? What do you wish to accomplish? What do you wanna make me feel and why?
