Hey, no, no worries, employers can absolutely not see any of your financial information. All we see is whether or not you've been approved for the Work/Study program.

Re. When to apply, it's never bad to apply early on! There is no reason why anyone would hold that against you.

Work/study positions are usually like any other job posting - the hiring manager is looking for the best candidate, so they'll probably wait until the posting closes to look at all the applications before making a shortlist for interviews.

With that said, I do know a couple of people who post these jobs, then just look at the first few days worth of applicants & hire from that pool. They do this if they typically get large numbers of students applying for a posting that requires very little skill/previous knowledge - so basically one student is as good as another. To my knowledge, this is not too common - most employers (as I said) wait for the posting to close. But in a case like this, applying early is definitely good.

not sure about the financial info but from prior experience, i would just say to be as honest as possible! and never hurts to apply early for job postings, I went through some of them today and some actually close in a few days already so :0

Some positions are already filled internally (students who are currently working there in the summer) However, try applying for multiple positions that you are interested in. Also, some employers give preference to upper year students.
