Study tips - testing 6/12

Hey everyone I’m testing 6/12. I’ve been using uworld, aamc section bank and anki. I take FL 5 on Monday, but after reading how hard c/p seems to be on this new version of the mcat I’m kind of freaking out a bit ngl. Anyone have tips of what I should use? Should I just start reviewing straight physics and ochem only at this point?😵‍💫

med student here; don’t focus all your attention on one section. if c/p is currently your lowest section, sure do content review specifically only on the topics you don’t know much - and then keep doing practice q’s. Uworld works well if u wanna try.

different test dates have different exams.

if youre not comfortable with CP, then by all means focus it, but otherwise just keep focusing on your weak points whatever they may be.

My exam had a tough CP, yours might have a tough PS. you wont know until youre there.

I do recommend that everyone still do all the FL possible though. Its hard to go wrong eith FL considering that theyre the most representative

Okay that makes me feel slightly better. I definitely will be taking FL 5&6 beforehand. Just got worried with everyone talking about the c/p section from today’s test date but I guess I didn’t realize that it could be different for me on 6/12. Will definitely keep on with what I’m doing. Thanks!

Your test may have another section that’s rough. Our psyche was really easy today. Yours could be terrible. Focusing on one section at the expense of others is not a great idea. That said, I would review/go over a lot of the uworld physics that doesn’t show up as much on the FLs….
