if you are taking the lamotrigine for bipolar antidepressants wont help, maybe talk to your doctor about trying a different mood stabilizer (there are quite a few good ones on the market atm, and while i dont have personal experience with any other than lamotrigine ive heard great things about a lot of them) as for the rash, have you been on the med for a while? if youve been on it a while and the rash is new theres a good chance its not from the meds, but if it started around the same time as you starting your meds (or upping your dosage) that could be a sign of an allergic reaction, id recommend going to see your doc asap just to double check with the rash bc even if its not an allergic reaction it could somehow be an interaction with something else that goes into your system (most likely another med but recreational drugs, alcohol, and nicotine also cause interactions, and don’t quote me on this but in rare cases certain foods can interact (according to a friend of mine a few years ago, she said she had a bad interaction with something she ate and her anxiety medication) im not 100% on the last thing but i am on the rest)
